Description
RXR is an E70T-1 wire that has a higher level of de-oxidizing elements to handle mill scale, rust and other contaminants. Single or Multiple pass applications with CO2 shielding gas.
APPLICATIONS: Steel structures; Heavy fabrication; Single and multi-pass welding; Storage vessels; Rail cars; Non-alloyed and fine-grain steels; Earth moving equipment. SLAG SYSTEM: Slow-freezing, rutile-type, flux-cored wire.
SHIELDING GAS: 100% Carbon Dioxide (CO2), 35-50 cfh (17-24 l/min).
TYPE OF CURRENT: Direct Current Electrode Positive (DCEP).
STANDARD DIAMETERS: 0.045" (1.2 mm), 1/16" (1.6 mm), 5/64" (2.0 mm), 3/32" (2.4 mm), 7/64" (2.8 mm).
